A Wall of Windows with Garden Views
The previous windows were painted a dark grey colour outside with white inside. The client chose Aluplast frames by Thermotek Windows with black internally and externally. This contemporary colour compliments the outside features of their home while providing a fresh and modern look on the inside.

As part of the window replacements, we have made significant changes to the windows on the back wall. Rather than having opening windows, we have opted for fixed panes. By removing the vertical and horizontal lines from the design, these new panes are designed to allow a considerable amount of sunlight to enter the space and act as the perfect framing for the outside gardens. We added a sliding door on either end of the room to ensure that there is plenty of cross ventilation with the removal of opening windows across the back.
This change has not only improved the aesthetic appearance of the room but has also enhanced the overall energy efficiency of the building.

Frames and glass arrived on day one of the installation, and Full House Developments replaced five windows and three doors in two days, minimising the impact on the family’s living arrangements. We always ensure that families are able to live in the home comfortably during the installation process and that everything is closed up and secure overnight.
Lucy designed the new windows and doors to ensure that the home not only maintains optimal thermal performance but also remains future-proof for many years to come. The new double glazing paired with uPVC frames can help regulate the temperature inside the home throughout the year, ensuring a warmer home through the winter and a cooler home in the summer. Not only that, our client’s home now feels more open to the beautiful garden views.
