Enviro Renovations installed Deceuninck frames by Forever Green windows in the classic and timeless white profile. The white windows and doors complement the newly rendered brickwork beautifully and provide a fresh, clean palette for the interior features and furniture. The clients decided to go for a square set plaster finish around the windows and doors giving a neat and seamless finish.
The kitchen now has a prominent feature – the old sliding door was taken out, and wall was removed to make space for a much larger Lift and Slide door measuring 4.5 metres wide. This modern door type comes with a compression seal, and the sash goes into a low threshold track to provide premium insulation for a sliding door with a low stepover. The homeowners have fitted a retractable screen to the door that rolls away neatly out of sight when it is not in use.

The bedrooms now have 1/3 casement windows with 2/3 fixed, which open up the rooms to the beautiful garden views. The casement windows can be wound out to up to 90 degrees, providing charm and maximum airflow.
Kirgro Projects bricked up the second sliding door’s original placement and moved it to the main bedroom. They fitted a gorgeous deck extending from the front door all the way down to the main bedroom, amplifying practical space for the family to enjoy their garden.

The new bath and ensuite have an impressive upgrade – they now feature highlight awning windows with clear glass. These windows offer the perfect balance between privacy and natural light. You can enjoy the serene ambience of the surrounding trees while still maintaining your privacy. It’s a wonderful addition that will enhance the overall look and feel of the space.

The homeowners already feel the benefits of their insulation upgrades after their heating system malfunctioned, and noticed it is not as chilly as it would have been without it. When asked how their newly renovated home feels, they said, “Our renovation has breathed a whole new life into our much-loved house. The look and feel of the home is so improved and we love how bright and crisp the house feels now. The look and also ambience in the house has been greatly improved with the updates made, including the lovely new windows and doors throughout.”
It is clear that this renovation has ticked off all of the client’s needs and wants: “My favourite thing is everything!! I love how light-filled the house is, that the kids have rooms they chose the wall colour for, and that my garden, which I love so much, now feels like a part of the interior of the home. It is now framed and enjoyed from every room in the house.”
