Design Process
In-Store Consultation
Visit our showroom to try out our windows and doors, view our colour selections and glass types and learn all about our insulated products.
If you have your window and door sizes or building plans, you can bring these in to start the quoting process. Otherwise, we will book an appointment for our designer to meet you at your home to measure and design for a quotation
Home Consultation
During the home consultation, our designer measures each window and door in your home and creates a window/door schedule with custom-made designs and specifications. We consider the orientation that the window/door faces, its operation, configuration, and the overall look of the home.
Our designers provide expert advice and answer any questions you have about the process as well as assist you in making selections on frame colours, glass types and opening styles.
Energy Ratings
Double-glazed uPVC has one of the best energy ratings available, as both the frames and glass are insulated. We can upgrade glass types and opening styles to suit different applications and compliance requirements, easily meeting 7-star energy rating requirements with low u-values.
Check Measure
When you are ready to proceed with your proposal, our designer and installer will attend your home for a check measure. During the check measure, each window and door is assessed for size, design and final selections.
Our installer can answer questions about the install process and our designer will discuss the next steps with the order and delivery.
Project Management
Order
Once your order has been placed, our Customer Care team manages the process. You will receive an email notification once your order is processed with delivery and installation dates.
Delivery Notice
The week before delivery, an email with delivery and installation start times is sent, and you receive a phone call from the office to discuss storage.
Frame Delivery
Our delivery team are professional removalists who will store your frames safely in the designated area.
Frame deliveries usually take place on Monday or Wednesday. The frames are stored upright neatly against a wall.
Glass Delivery
The glass units are delivered on the day of installation and stored upright against a wall. Glass must be stored on a padded surface such as timber, foam, rubber, or cardboard and not directly onto concrete.
Installation
Replacement
We work with three installation teams, Enviro Renovations, Full House Developments, and Beyond Carpentry & Design, who replace your windows and doors with new uPVC double glazing. We also work with builders who can provide any structural work.
Included in the replacement package:
- Remove old frames and glass for disposal and recycling
- Install new frames and glazing
- Seal around windows/doors with expansion foam
- Trim/quad the outside
- Add architraves to the inside
- Install fly screens and fly doors
New Build
Your builder will install the frames, and our team will take care of the rest. We are here to support your builder with installation and fixing advice.
